About EvacPath

Who owns and runs EvacPath

EvacPath is founded, owned, and operated by John Miguel Alpindo, an independent drafting specialist who draws every diagram himself. It produces AS 3745 compliant evacuation diagrams for Australian businesses, delivered fully remotely with no site visit. You see your first draft before you pay anything, and pay only once you approve the work. A Basic package is A$280 for 1 to 4 diagrams, delivered as print-ready A3 PDFs in 3 to 5 business days.

John Miguel Alpindo, Founder and Drafting Specialist

EvacPath is the work of one person. John Miguel Alpindo founded the practice, owns it, and draws every diagram that leaves it. He is a self-taught drafting specialist with more than 12 years of hands-on Microsoft Visio experience producing evacuation diagrams and technical building maps.

His method is precise replication. He works from a reference, your floor plan, a set of fire-services construction drawings, or a walkthrough video, and rebuilds it as a clean, correctly scaled diagram with every AS 3745 element placed where it belongs. Evacuation diagrams reward that kind of patience. They are read in a hurry, under stress, so the layout has to be unambiguous the first time.

That is why the focus is narrow. EvacPath does one thing, AS 3745 evacuation diagrams for Australian businesses, rather than general drafting, so every job builds on the last.

How the draft-first model works

You see your first draft before you pay anything. EvacPath drafts your diagrams from the details you send, shows you the result, and refines it until you approve it. Only then is an invoice sent.

The sequence

  • Send your floor plan and site details. No payment at this stage.
  • Receive your first draft and review it against your actual building.
  • We refine the diagrams until you approve them.
  • You approve, and only then do we invoice.
  • After delivery you get two rounds of updates for later changes.

This removes the usual risk of ordering compliance work sight unseen. You are judging a real draft of your own building, not a promise, and nothing is owed until it is right.

Section 03

A remote practice, built for Australian compliance

EvacPath is fully remote and digital-only. There are no site visits. Diagrams are produced from whatever you already have: a floor plan, fire-services construction drawings, or a phone walkthrough video of the space. You supply the layout and the positions of exits, fire equipment, first aid, and the assembly area. EvacPath turns it into print-ready A3 PDFs, each page oriented heads-up per AS 3745 for the location where it will hang.

To be direct about it: EvacPath is based in Quezon City, Philippines, and serves Australian businesses exclusively. The remote model is deliberate. It is the reason a Basic package is A$280 rather than several times that, and the reason turnaround is 3 to 5 business days. What does not change is the standard. Every diagram is drawn to AS 3745-2010, Planning for emergencies in facilities, and you approve the draft against your own site before any money changes hands.

AS 3745-2010 sets out what an evacuation diagram must contain, how large it must be, and how it must be oriented and placed. EvacPath builds to those elements as a matter of course. Final on-site verification stays with you or your Emergency Planning Committee, which is the same division of responsibility any external drafter works under.
